overall reflection

Embarking on the journey of Projects 1, 2, and 3 has been a transformative experience, shaping my growth across various competencies.

1. Discipline Specific Knowledge:

  • Project 1 served as the cornerstone, translating design theories into tangible practice. Ethical considerations in architecture were explored, laying a principled groundwork. The collaborative nature of Project 2 deepened my insights into professional practices, fostering a dynamic exchange within the group.

2. Lifelong Learning:

  • Each project encouraged independent learning. The iterative process fostered effective information synthesis, and staying intellectually engaged was inherent in the continuous exploration of design possibilities.

3. Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Critical and creative thinking flourished across projects. Project 2, with its emphasis on effective problem definition and analysis, fortified my problem-solving capabilities through collaborative efforts within the group.

4. Communication Skills:

  • From initial design conceptualization in Project 1 to the group dynamics of Project 2, communication skills evolved. The collaborative environment in the group project allowed me to effectively articulate ideas, ensuring seamless communication.

5. Interpersonal Skills:

  • The group dynamics in Project 2 provided valuable insights into team collaboration. Assuming leadership roles during group projects underscored the power of teamwork and deepened my understanding of interpersonal dynamics.

6. Intrapersonal Skills:

  • The reflective component of Project 3 was pivotal not only in managing myself but also in fostering self-reliance. This introspective aspect, combined with the collaborative efforts in group projects, contributed to embodying Taylor's core values.

7. Citizenship and Global Perspectives:

  • Engaging with diverse perspectives was integral, particularly within the group project. The collaborative effort prompted an enriched awareness, contributing to a more informed formation of opinions and fostering a sense of civic responsibility.

8. Digital Literacy:

  • Digital literacy seamlessly wove through each project, from utilizing design tools in Project 1 to the collaborative digital presentations in Project 3. These skills position me well for the evolving landscape of the architectural field.

In summary, these projects have collectively sculpted a holistic learning journey. The collaborative experiences within group projects not only enhanced my interpersonal skills but also contributed significantly to the synthesis of knowledge across various competencies. The dynamic interplay between individual and group endeavors has been instrumental in my overall growth.
